Sorry I can't be of much help. My wife's ancestors came from East Frisia
(Ostfriesland), Lower Saxony, Germany. They arrived at the Port of New York 24
Jun 1865.

Bremen to New York
24 June 1865

DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK

I, H. Peengrafe, Master of the Bark Argonaut do solemnly, sincerely, and
truly affirm that the following List or Manifest subscribed by me, and now
delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New
York is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the
said Bark Argonaut at Bremen from which port said Bark has now arrived; and
that on said list is truly designated the age, sex, calling or occupation of
all passengers Sworn to this June 24, 1865 before me ? (name of port authority
indecipherable).

List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Bremen Bark
Argonaut whereof H. Peengrafe, is master, from Bremen, burthen (no tonnage given)
tons. Manifest of the Bremen Bark Argonaut

Columns represent: name, surname, age, sex, occupation, country of origin,
country which they intend to inhabit, accommodation, born or died on voyage.

Line 336 is my wife's 3rd great-grandfather. Line 327 is a son of line 336
and my wife's 2nd great-grandfather. Line 330 is her great-grandfather, and
the others are her great-granduncles and aunts.

The family located in Iroquois County, Illinois, United States where some of
the descendants still live.
