Hi,
My Lonsdale interest is in a Jane LONSDALE - she married a William BURN. I
know that they had 1 child in 1849 (Durham, England), & that Jane died in
that same year.
I don't have any other dates to confirm Jane's DOB.
Does anyone have any details of this LONSDALE?
Thanks,

Subject: Lonsdale research
Hi:
In response to some thoughts mentioned last December on the
web site, I thought that I would contact each
LONSADLE researcher personally and ask them to post on the Lonsdale web site
all their research to date on the family name..
May of have done so over the years but now is a time to bring it all
together so that others may have an opportunity to see what may recently
been uncovered and if a family member has a connection with that of another
Lonsdale branch.
I hope that I am being too forward in asking this of you and yet I
know
that most of us need the help of each other as we are all somehow connected
somewhere back in time.
I look forward to hearing from you and about your Lonsdale
connection
Harry Rogers
I am researching Stephen Lonsdale, born about 1800 somewhere in
England,
married Ann Mitchell, emigrated to Port Hope, Ontario, had six children and
died somewhere between 1861 and 1871 in Ontario. To date, I have not been
able to make any further connection back in time or about their life in
Ontario or forward through their only two sons, William Henry Lonsdale, who
died April 8, 1901 in Port Hope, Ontario, and John Lonsdale who died
somewhere in New jersey, USA.
