James Foster (1753-1837) served as private
in the South Carolina troops
and was in the Battle of Cowpens.
He was born in Ireland; died at Spring Hill, Ind.
James Foster m. Jane Morrow.

to James Bonner (1792-1844)
their son Samuel A. Bonner (1826-1904)
m. 1852 Ella M. Carter (1832).
Mrs. Minnie E. Bonner their daughter,
was born in Greensburg, Ind.
and was the wife of William L. Dechant.
Mrs. Minnie Dechant was in the DAR through her ancestor.
