I am looking for two possible daughters of Robert Foster, Sr (d. 1802,
Abbeville Dist, SC) and Hannah Sinclair Foster. Two men are listed as heirs
to the estate of Robert Foster. They were probably married to Robert's
daughters. The men were David Cochran and Robert Hearst. Robert Foster had
three other daughters that I know of: Mary B who married Andrew Crawford,
Jean who married Thomas Mealey, and Margaret, who was a minor when Robert Sr.
died in 1802. Also listed as heirs but with a guardian of Robert McClellen
were Ebenezer Foster and James Foster. Were Ebenezer and James grandchildren
of Robert Sr, children of a deceased son perhaps? Listed with Hannah
Sinclair Foster as guardian for Margaret, Benjamin, Joseph and William was
Elijah Foster. Was Elijah the oldest son of Robert and Hannah? Or was he
perhaps Robert's brother?

On 7 Mar 1786, a call went out to Rev. Thomas Clark asking him to pastor the
united congregations of Little Run, Long Can, and Cedar Creek (Cedar Spring)
churches. This was signed by Robert Foster, John Cochran, Elijah Sinclair
and a Mr. Patterson. Was this Elijah Sinclair the father of Hannah?
