Hello All,

I am a new subscriber to this list but not new to Rootsweb.

I am researching my grandmother's family of DUGMORE from Cardiff. My
grandmother was born in the Cardiff Union Workhouse in April 1915 and her mother,
Edith May DUGMORE gave her occupation & address as Domestic Servant, House of
Mercy, Highgate. I have done a Google search & found that the House of Mercy
was a church hostel for "fallen women".
Does anyone know of this place & whether there are archives for it?
