Um, as LO admin, let me comment that that's not entirely an accurate
recommendation.
LO is where issues belong if it's an admin issue and it's a question of the
sort "how do I as admin do....." or "what should I as admin do about..."
If it's of the class of "I don't like how mailman works" or "I don't like
how RootsWeb is implementing mailman" or "I don't like *that* RootsWeb is
implementing mailman", then it either belongs on LOAF or at HelpDesk.
HelpDesk if you're seriously looking for assistance or to make a serious
comment/suggestion; LOAF if you're just looking to fuss and/or for people to
fuss with you or make comments of the "....and the horse they rode in on"
sort.
Think of it this way: LO is for any issue where your fellow admins are apt
to be able to offer advice or solutions. It is *never* for "sit'n'bitch"
sessions (think LOAF) , or issues that you pretty much are dead certain
require staff intervention (HD): while some members of staff are on the
list, LO is not the preferred method to contact staff.
