Hello,

Well it finally worked last night so it got fixed. Try it again. I
used the same method last night as I did before. The same method as was
given on this list.

I will further suggest if rootsweb.com is not going to allow users
access to the urls that are put in the message headers that the urls are
removed from the headers. In other mailman mailing lists that I am on
the urls are accessible to users and the password protection is done
when the user tries to do certain actions. It is also possible for
mailman to send an unsubscribe comfirmation to the users email address
without the user entering a password. The email has a link with a
comfirmation code that brings the user to a page where they can
unsubscribe. This can solve more problems and seems to be available on
every mailman based list except rootsweb.com.

Doing something simple like trying to change a email address only to
find that the methods are misdocumented, do not work, or are password
protected is very frustrating. I had enough fun dealing with my ISP in
getting my DSL transferred.
