Hello Eric:

You will find the archives for this list here:

to unsubscribe from ANY mailman (migrated) list send a new message
to substituting the name of the list
for "listname" for this list the address would be

Put the word unsubscribe in the subject line (or it will not work) and
also in the body of the message.

Bear in mind, that subscribe and unsubscribe messages must be done
from the address that will be used for the list. If you subscribe to
a list using one address, you will also have to unsubscribe using that
SAME address... sending from the same account. You also cannot send a
message from one account and state in the body that you want it sent
to a different account. The address you send the message from will
determine where you get your mail, or where it is stopped from being
sent. You can only post from your address that you used to subscribe
to the list. (Unless your admin is willing to make other arrangements
under special conditions.)

Under smartlist, it was also allowable to subscribe an address more
than one time to a list, but the mail would only generate one copy.
An unsubscribe attempt would generate the unsub message, but there
would still be an instance of the address being subscribed to the
list. The admin would have to manually complete unsubscription.

As you mentioned switching addresses, you may have not sent from the
actual subscribed address when you asked for unsubscription. If you
have your mail forwarded from one account to another, this could
explain why you still received mail. This occurs with some frequency
-- people forget what they did with which address.

It would appear that your list admin manually unsubscribed your address.

Cheers,

Lauren
