In some ways some of the admin messages (like about bounces) may well
inform the non-admin subscribers - or at least will inform those who
get unsubscribed from some list. In reality it is difficult to
remember just which list you are reading and responding to. Both
lists have been overwhelmed and there is no organization and few
official answers.

It occurs to me that a daily message from Melissa, the list manager
of this list (LIST-UPDATE) and the top dog of this migration, to
LISTOWNERS-L about admin changes or concerns that have come up that
day would be VERY helpful and might even cut down some of the extra
messages on LIST-UPDATE. The list manager of LISTOWNERS-L is not the
right person to post such a message. It needs come from someone who
knows the problems and the fixes and is in on the decision making.
