Joan,

The block from ALL incoming messages from lists served by the new lists9
server on Mailman has been my experience all along. Both as a list admin and as
a subscriber. I'm spending most of my time trying to keep up by reading the
archives of the various lists so affected.

AOL does seem to eventually send these messages along, some being slightly
delayed and others severely delayed. Today I have been receiving messages from
Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. So far, nothing from any messages that have been
sent to this list today. From the headers, it would appear that AOL is holding
messages and trickling them down to us on some schedule known only to them!
Of some 50+ messages received from this list today, 10 were still in my spam
folder.

I certainly agree that this should be addressed PRIOR to the large migration
of lists that is scheduled.

The AOL block on mail from this list seems to have now been extended to
cover ALL lists that have been migrated to the lists9 server.

I just checked the archives for the PAPHILAD list for which I'd been
receiving ALL mail as of yesterday and I find 5 new posts dated 8/16--none
of which has hit my inbox. So the block is getting WORSE instead of better.

This really needs to be addressed before any further lists are migrated. I
know Rob is working on it--but it is getting worse instead of better.
Something tells me there will be serious problems if about 20% of all
subscribers to our lists (including the admins) don't get mail after the
changeover. :(
