Joan,
You cut off what was my response to Rod's question
Why are there these variations on the same list:
1. Reply: List
Reply all: Sender, cc: List
(Laura Boyd's messages, e.g.)
2. Reply: List
Reply all: List
(Keith Eldridge's messages, e.g.)
Shouldn't all the messages present the same options?
Your response is just NOT correct!
I just did a reply to all on this message and your email address does not
appear.
On my previous message I did a reply to all and both the list-update address
and the senders address appeared in the To box.
It seems that all of Rod Dav4is's message in a reply to all list both his
email address and the list-update address...but there is more. Initially I
thought it might be a cc on the list, but that doesn't quite hold.
I'm listing 3 different examples:

All three names appear in a reply to all.
In another message the sender's address and list-update appear in reply to
all
