I can only tell you that on the PAPHILAD list when it was migrated at the
start of the testing that I had previously used the abbreviated prepend of
[paphl] on the list and and after the migration the default propend had become:
[PAPHILAD]. I was able to go in and abbreviate it but not change it to lower
case--which I think was fixed yesterday so it will accept changes of case.
I can't speak for a list that had no prepend at the time of the
changeover--whether one would be added by default or not--but I sort of assume so and
assume it will be up to you to remove it if you don't want it.
Here is another case where a simple script should be able to tell Mailman
that no prepend was previously used so don't add one...but I'm not sure such a
check is in place.
