Dear Angela,
I'm afraid that I cannot be much help as I am not familiar with your family.
Back in the 1800's there was a George and an Otis light who lived in Texas
that migrated from TN where many Lights lived during the late 1700's. This
is where my family is from -TN to MO to AR and then CA.
Have you tried the 1930 census for George Light and Edna? Perhaps Edna's
death certificate would give her parents names. Also, have you tried getting
a birth certificate for Otis Light? If you do not have access to the census,
I do and will be glad to look them up for you.
Sincerely
Barbara Light Starr
