My materna grandmother was Maria Matilda Astanowicz she was born in Lemberg, Galicia (or now Lwow, Ukraine) Her mother was Maria Leu and her grandfather was Ignati Leu. They are from the Lwow (Lemberg) area of what was Galicia and is now in Ukraine. Maria Leu married Miecislaus Victoris Astanowicz. Ignati Leu married Anastasiae Koziak
