Thanks for getting back to me and appreciate all you research.

I agree with the 1881 census and also saw 1891 where it stated that John was
widowed on Ancestry, which is what I have been using.

But I know for fact that in 1884 he married Sarah Turner, which would be my
mother's grandmother. We have pictures of her in our home, so we know she
existed. They had 3 children, Ethel, Florence and John. It can be found on
ancestry. By the 1900 census they were living in MA.

I could not find where he married a Jane, although I am not very savvy with
this yet. Matter of fact I went on familysearch.org and could only find the
1881 census.

Of course, what I was really looking for was to find John's parents which I
had some information and now found more so all this has been helpful. But
now I can't find his father's father. Well, maybe some other day.
