In search of the family of my great grandpa, Charles Nelson Leeman
(that's how He spelled it), born Lowell, Massachusetts 1854. I have a
note that said that his daddy ran an Oyster Saloon...(???). Orphaned he
was left to be raised by the Hutt family, but left to live with Daniel
Coburn and his family at the age of 11 in Kingsboro Massachusetts. As
an adult he settled in Council Grove, Kansas and worked for the
railway. Married to Lu Betti Phillips of Nelson County, KY. Close
association to the Courtney family there. Other related surnames to
this couple are:
COURNEY, HUNT...surnames for LuBetty's side can be found at my Master
Site under the Phillips work.
