m? Samuel Layne, had son Elijah Jackson Layne "Jack",
b 1873 KY
My interest has peaked on the Layne branch, as my GG
gmother was Louisa Jackson, d/o Elijah Jackson...Louisa
m Nathaniel Akers, and their dau, Juliana, m William Brown.
William was s/o Isaac Brown, a bro to Jemima's father,
Stephen. He & Juliana Akers Brown, were my Ggparents.
One big, happy family!
In a recent search in Lawrence Co., OH, I found a death
for a Samuel Layne, Dec 2, 1852....???? Any connection?
I have never found a m date for Jemima & Samuel....maybe
they divorced?
