Sorry, my grandfather's brother, William James Latimer, was born in 1836 in Ireland. He went to the US to live sometime in the 1860s and wasn't heard from again. His father would have been Charles Latimer.

Subject: [LATIMER] William Latimer, father of Malinda Latimer, b. 1813,Tn
If anyone has any information on William Latimer, who was the father of a Malinda Latimer, b. abt. 1813, Please help. I mistakenly thought Wetherell Latimer, of Conn, was her father, but I now have a deed that proves otherwise. Malinda married my paternal g-grandfather, Simon H. Harrison, of Sumner Co, Tn. My mother was a Latimer, which goes back to Robert Latimer, of Conn. If someone can straighten me out on the facts, I would appreciate it. Linda, Sumner Co, Tn
