A wonderful genealogist/historian/Civil war historian and author as well as Daily Iberian Newspaper reporter who always wrote about Genealogy and our Louisiana historical facts has passed away.

He was a mentor to many who searched early history and their family genealogy. If he did not already have the information you searched for - he would help you find it and help you as much as he could. He was an inspiration to many of us and was our guiding light to knowledge of our past and history.


Mr. Morris Rapheal age 93 of New Iberia, LA died
friday July 1, 2011
