Hello & Happy Thanksgiving to one & all !!!

I am a new subscriber to this Langen mailing list. My Langen connection is
through my g-grandmother, Catherine Banks. Her sister, Eliza Banks married
??? Langen. Eliza's son Tom Langen & maybe other children were living in
Toledo, Ohio in 1918.

According to a 2nd cousin, Eliza & husband emigrated to the US. She
(probably her husband) became a US citizen and by 1918 Eliza & husband
moved back to Ireland. A letter from Eliza was written Dec 1918 and has a
return address & postal stamp of: Aghoo, Kilmactranna, Ballyfarnon P.O.,
Carrick-on-Shannon.

Catherine Banks married James Loftus in 1872 in Scranton. She emigrated
from Ireland about 1869 & was living in boarding house in Scranton for the
1870 Census. Catherine, James, & 4 children moved to Philadelphia by 1880
Census.

There were two other Banks sisters, Ann & Bridget.
Ann Banks married ??? Quinn. Her daughter Mamie Quinn married ???
Christiansen. Mamie had 5 or 6 children: Dorothy, Theresa, Paul, plus more.

A Bridget Banks was in Scranton for the 1870 Census, working & living as a
domestic in a private home.

I am looking for the names of these sisters' parents before I try to search
Irish records. I would also like to fill-in descendants of sisters, Eliza,
Ann, & Bridget. If these names fit into your Langen family, I would like
to hear from you.
