Dear Sir or Madam,
      I am a student at Nicholls State University and I have an
assignment to find out what was served at the dinners(rumor has it that
there were 3) associated with the signing of the Lousiana Purchase in
1803. I know that the signing took place at the Cabildo, but I am having
a difficult time finding information surrounding the events.
     If information is not available on the dinners, I can also provide
information about the types of food typically served during the time and
the types of flowers and foliage that would be used for decoration.
     I would appreciate any information that you could provide and
possible resources that I could check.
