Looking for a family named O'Connor, or possibly O'Conna/Connor/Conner/Conna/Canna, with a son John N. born in Texas, probably 1844-1846, but possibly as early as 1836. Father may be Irish. Mother is Black.

John N. enlisted in the 1st Louisiana Native Guards on the Union Side in New Orleans on April 3, 1863.

Looking for this family in 1850 or 1860. By 1970, John N. was in New Jersey.
