Margaret Sorenson, 80

FLORA -- Margaret Koger Sorenson, 80, of Flora, died at 10:50 a.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.

Born Jan. 3, 1926, in Whitley City, Ky., her parents were the late George
Elbert and Bonnie Gregory Koger. She lived in Camden for 27 years and in
Flora for 26 years. She was a 1943 graduate of Ambia High School.

She married August "Gus" Sorenson on Dec. 25, 1943, in Fowler, and he died
Aug. 14, 1997.

Mrs. Sorenson was a homemaker and an avid reader.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Smith (husband: Horace) of Logansport, and a
son, Alan Sorenson of Flora.

Visitation from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18,
2006, at Cree Funeral Home, Camden, the Rev. Horace Smith officiating.
Interment Paint Creek Cemetery, rural Camden. Surviving are a grandson,
Jeffrey Alan Smith; a granddaughter, Jessica Sorenson; and a
great-grandchild. She loved her grandchildren and her dog Sadie.
