I came across a death certificate for Benjamin Foster
b. Oct 18XX d. 6-22-1911 (age 78) in Wayne Co, KY,
buried in the Ramsey Cemetery. I was curious about
him because it lists his parents as Charlie Foster and
Emma Mounce. I think I found Benjamin in the 1850
census, age 14 living with Elizabeth Foster (head).
(There was a Charlie Foster who married Elizabeth
Morrow on April 25, 1829 in Wayne County.) In 1860,
he may be the Benjamin Foster age 24, married to
Margaret Duncan. Two daughters listed with them:
Elizabeth E. age 2 & Dorcus N. age 1.
Is there anyone researching this family who might know
anything about this Emma Mounce listed on Benjamin's
death cert? I'm not related to the Fosters, I'm just
curious about this family line.
