MUNCIE - Mr. Jay Harold Gregory, 61, of Muncie formerly of Indianapolis
passed away Tuesday January 31, 2006 at Ball Memorial Hospital after an extended
illness. He was born in Monticello, Kentucky to George and Mildred (Albertson)
Gregory on January 22, 1945. Jay enjoyed outdoors activities like fishing,
camping and liked to bowl as well.
Survivors include his children, daughter, Cindy Stephens, (husband Shane) of
Dunkirk; son, H. Jay Gregory, (wife Alice) of Indianapolis; daughter, Crissey
Lear of Muncie; daughter, Ginie Shelton of Indianapolis; adopted daughter,
Toni Jones of Indianapolis; three sisters, Velma Maxwell, (husband Virgil) of
Muncie; Mary Perdue of Daytona, FL; Donna Hucklebee, (husband Randy) of Muncie;
one brother, Bill Gregory, (wife Denise) of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren,
Christine, Justin, Andrue, Earl, Miranda, and Zackary, and several nieces and
nephews.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 16 years, Sadelia; and one
brother, John Gregory; and two sisters, Eunice Fay Gregory and Vidalene
Gregory.
Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday February 3rd, 2006 at
Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams St.
Funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday February 3rd, 2006 at Parson
Mortuary with Pastor Danny Lewis officiating. Burial will be Saturday at Liberty
Cemetery, Graves County, Folsomdale, KY.

Cancer Society.
