I know this message was posted a while ago but my gggrandmother is rachel carter I am from her direct line my grandmother still lives in Ohio. I have been trying to find info on Rachel Carter and her parents but cant find anything more than her fathers name John Henry Carter and Patience (no maiden name) Carter.
If you are still on here researching I would love to talk with you and maybe share info
