William Gardner and Nancy Elmore Gardner were divorced May 30, 1866 in
Hodgenville, LaRue County, KY. Nancy and William agreed on a settlement. Nancy was
given one third of William's personal property and a lifetime right to fifty
acres located on the waters of the South Fork of Nolynn. In November,
William sold the rest of this land to James M. DICKSON.
