Hello List!

I am Suzanne Tucker-Potts and am new to this list. I recently stumbled upon some of my ancestors in Hopkins County and thought I would give this list a try to help with them.

My 2nd great grandfather, John W Green (born October between the years of 1847 - 1852 in Kentucky) is believed to have lived in Hopkins County around 1870 - 1880. He is believed to be the son of Martin (born about 1812 in Kentucky) and Clark (born about 1815 in Virginia), husband of Mary A (born about Feb 1845 - 1848 in Virginia) and father of John W, Samuel, Lewis, Alice Minnie (could be two children or just one) and Everett. By 1900, Mary had given birth to 10 children, 6 of which were living (born between 1868 - 1885).

I have found this family (or what I believe to be this family) on the following census records:

1860     Webster County, Kentucky - John was living with his parents Martin and Clark
1870     Hopkins County, Kentucky - John was living with wife, son and father
1880     Hopkins County, Kentucky - John was living with wife and several children
1900     Stewart County, Tennessee - John was living with wife, 2 children and grandson

Any help with this family? I am recently starting research on this family so I do not have much on them.
