Notes: Kentucky Historical Society Preservation workshop will be held on Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., April 18th at the Ballard County Chamber building and sponsored by Mount, Inc. (Many Old Unique Needy Tombstones). This workshop conducted by Ann Johnson, from Frankfort , Kentucky will be a lecture on Kentucky Cemetery Laws and mapping an old cemetery. Also, Ann will demonstrate the safe procedures in cleaning and rubbing an old tombstone. This state sponsored cemetery preservation workshop will give you all the information you need to get started cleaning and recording old tombstones in your area.
