This site is the Library of Congress and this is a complete
reprint of a
book,History of Kentucky 1812, written by Humphrey Marshall.
Just some of
the index: Boonesburough,settled,Daniel Boone,settles Ky,
his bio, his
advice at the Licks,John Brown,Geo Rogers Clark, his visit
to Ky, appointed
Colonel, Ky counties
Jefferson,Fayette,Lincoln,Nelson,Bourbon,Mercer,Simon
Girty,Harrodsburgh settles,his bio,Simon Kenton, march to
Blue Licks,a
sketch of the McAfees, surveyors office, etc. This is only a
short list of the
indes. The book is 415 pages long. There is an index and you
can read the
entire book page by page. It is quite interesting and I am
sure lots of you
will enjoy it. There is lots more info on the site, you just
have to look
for it.
