Hazel Freeman Adams
Hazel Freeman Adams, 93, of Madisonville, died June 28, 1996 at Regional
Medical Center in Madisonville, Ky. He was the son of the late Lilburn
W. Adams and Lula Gertrude Qualls Adams and was born Dec. 7, 1902 in Vanetta,
Ky. A retired paint contractor, he was a member of First United Methodist
Church.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Survivors include his wife Gladys Cobb Adams of Madisonville; a son, Jess
Freeman Adams of Madisonville; a brother, Carol Adams, of Madisonville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist
Church in Madisonville with the Rev. Don Davis and the Rev. Gene Pillow
officiating the service. Burial will take place in Odd Fellows Cemetery
in Madisonville.
Monte Robinson, Paul Jackson, Joey Simms, Clifton Adams, Jim Brent, and
Bob Park will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Wesley
Brotherhood Sunday School Class and the Retired Mens Coffee Group.
