Dalton Bond, age 78, of Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday
morning, February 12, 2009, at the residence of his daughter in
Mansfield, Ohio.

Mr. Bond was born May 28, 1930, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the
late Edgar and Lula Griffith Bond.

Dalton was a retired employee of the Westinghouse Corporation in
Mansfield, Ohio, where he had worked for forty years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Gary
Dalton Bond. One brother, Paul Bond. One sister, Charlotte Edison.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Bonnie Hicks Bond. Two
daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Donnie Edwards, Michelle and Jimmy
Gee both of Mansfield, Ohio. One sister-in-law, Brenda Bond Ewers of
Mansfield, Ohio. Five grandchildren, Jamie Gee, Christopher Bond,
Sequoia Bond, Misty Edwards and Heather Gee. One great-grandson, Cyrus
Dalton Collins. Other grandchildren include, C. E., B. J., Dianne and
Dana. Four brothers, Dewayne Bond, Kennith Bond and Ernie Bond all of
Olive Hill, Kentucky, David Bond of Grayson, Kentucky. He also leaves
numerous family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2009, at
the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother J. C. Bond
officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery, Olive
Hill, Kentucky.

Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. Saturday and until the service hour
Sunday, at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky.

Gary Christopher Bond, B.J. Bond, C. E. Bond, Jamie Gee, Logan Brummage
and Jason Hoskins will serve as pallbearers.
