I'm getting ready to take off but just had a wonderful idea. I have just
written to Jim Poore who manages the Barren Co website and asked him to do
a special favor for me.

I am so touched by the tributes that are coming in from you vets, family of
vets, etc. that I'm asking him to set up a new section on the Barren Co
website called "Salute to our Veterans." With your permission (and please
let me know), I will cut and paste the messages that are coming in and send
them to him for inclusion on the page. If you don't want your names or
email addys shown, just let me know.

To the Barren Co list - I'm hoping that your listowner won't object. I
opened up discussion today and tomorrow only for all the vets, spouses,
children or parents of vets to post a tribute to a vet. For the vets on the
list, I've asked them to send an email to the list telling us when and
where they served and any special memory they'd like to share. I want to
honor you in a little more special way.
