Greetings to all:

As my first foray into the Riley County page, I am asking for
help in finding cemetery or death records (or any others) for
the surname
PISHNY/PISHNEY/PISNY. In Sumner County and in Grant and Kay
Counties in Oklahoma, there are people who volunteer to check
these things. I hope I am not asking for quests at windmills
here, but only that someone has a book with the right info.

Specifically I am looking for any records pertaining to the wife
of Anton Pishny. The given name we have for her in early
records is Theresia/Theresa SEDMERA. We were told that she was
murdered in Moravia; but now questions arise. Anton appears in
the 1880 KS census with a wife named "Ferezi." My conjecture is
that the census taker couldn't understand their speech and
simply wrote down her name this way. Of course, now I question,
did she die in the old country? or did she come with Anton and
die on the Blue Prairie?

I should add that later Anton married a woman named Frantiska
Sutera Jilek. Actually I would appreciate anything that comes
up for this family or possible relatives.

Thanks "a million."

All tips appreciated.
