Gary,

Thank you, that confirms my suspicion that the family I found on the 1875
Census is indeed Laura Luella Robert's family. Are there any other KEECH or
KEACH names listed in Pioneers of the Bluestem Prairie? I'm trying to piece
together my great-great-Grandparent's family. They moved from Erie, PA to
Riley County, KS in the spring of 1872, and within the next year or two, my
ggGrandfather Daniel T. KEECH died or disappeared, possibly committed
suicide. I have been unsuccessful in finding a death certificate or
obituary or burial place for him.

Daniel Keech was married to Eliza King, and they had the following children,
all born in PA:
Eddy Lee Keech, b. October 2, 1848 in Erie, PA, married Nancy
Narcissus EDGERTON
D.T. (Dan or Dar?) Keech, b. May 28, 1851, married ???
Nettie Louise Keech, b. October 21, 1854, married Nathan Osbourn
Ella Mary Keech, b. February 11, 1858, married Adolphus C. Smith
Bryon Earl Keech, b. December 23, 1861, married "Ella" Laura Luella
Roberts
Alice Phillena Keech, b. December 2, 1865, married ???
"Eva" Anice Evangeline Keech, b. March 17, 1868, married Unknown
Drake

On the 1875 Riley Co Census, there is a 21 year old Leander Keech, born PA,
living in the household of widowed Eliza Keech, but I don't know who he is
or how he is connected to my Keech family, possibly a nephew who came to KS
to help Eliza after she was widowed.
Then, in the 1885 Riley Co Census, there is a 17 year old Thomas Keech, born
PA, listed as a widower, living in the household of Eliza Keech. Listed
below Thomas's name is a 1 year old boy named Lee Keech, whom I assume is
Thomas's son. I don't know how this Keech is connected either, but I assume
he is also a nephew.

Would it be possible to request a lookup to see if any of these other names
are listed in the Pioneers of the Bluestem Prairie?

Thanks again,
Julie Keech Wychor
