My WEIS line is from Godramstein, Bayern, Rheinpfalz, Germany. My Georg Ludwig
WEIS was born 14 Apr. 1817 there and married 1852 Nussdorf to Anna Margaretha
Gunthert of Nussdorf. From there they immigrated to Harrison Co., IN. They were
members of the Salem Peace German Reformed Church in New Middletown, IN so I
assume they may have been Lutheran in Germany. I am sorry that this doesn't
connect to your line.
