Hello List - Recently I found one of my 'brick walls', my great-uncle
William Alexander KNOX, in Connecticut (amazing, as he started out in
Quebec). He married Cora Butterfield in Bridgton, Maine in 1895.
According to the marriage registration, Cora's mother was also a KNOX,
Ellen A., born Albany, married John Butterfield, lived in Brownfield.
Does anyone have Ellen in their tree? It seems quite a coincidence
that she and her new son-in-law share a surname, but as far as I know,
all of my Knox line were born either in Ireland or Canada.
