Hi folks!

I'm a direct Knox descendent living down in the southern hemisphere. I
have been surfing to find research resources on the net, and have come up
with a few possibilities, but would like to know if anyone has ideas where
I can order more information in hardcopy format (CD / book) concerning
Knoxes in the Dumfries area in the 18th century. So far I can trace back
to William Henry KNOX * Dumfries 1779 + 22/4/1852 Discharged from 72nd
Highlanders 26/6/1817 X Scotland Mary NN XX Georgina Johanna Fielden
MEYER. Children's names from first wife are: Isabella; Robert; Jane;
William Henry; Francis; Charlotte; Ellen Elizabeth. At the moment our
local FHL is being renovated, and is therefore unavailable.
