Many thanks Gordon for your reply, these 2 Silas Kingstons families have me completely bewildered???My great grandmother (I think it is the same, Julia Hatcher Marks )married a Silas Kingston a gardener in Chilcomb Without around 1901 in Winchester. Her chidren, from her first marriage, one being my grandmother ended up as a BHC. I wonder if I might impose on you one step further in asking if any of these names sound familiar to you???silas kingston shepton mallet,b.1846 ?wife emma,b.1847 ?children,Frederick b 1866?Elizabeth b 1870,? Lilly b 1878 ? Edward J.b 1881? OR the SECOND SILAS KINGSTON FAMILY, EAST CRANMORE,silas kingston 1848? wife ?? children?theodore b.1872? samuel j.b.1875? .In the 1901 census only one widower Silas Kingston, and son Albert, age 15, show up .(in Chilcomb without). Also around the same time a Lily Kingston is married in Winchester, and a Theodore Kingston is also married in Winchester. I'M COMPLETELY CONFUSED!????Again Gordon thank you !
for your kind reply,nan
