This is not my family, but I recorded this information, after calling up the
record. I hope it belongs to someone on the list.

3-20-1965: John W. Kingston, a resident of 216 Central Street, Rockland,
MA, for 50 years, died at Phaneuf Hospital in Brockton, where he had been a
patient for 20 days. He was attended from September 1957-March 20, 1965; he
died about 11:25 p.m. Cause of death was adeno carcinoma of sigmoid (for
months). Diabetes mellitus was another significant condition, which he had
had for years. There was an autopsy performed to confirm cause of death. The
attending physician was Harry Oppenheim, M.D., of Rockland. He was buried in
Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman, MA, on March 24, 1965. The funeral director was
Magoun Funeral Home, 135 So. Union Street, Rockland. The husband of Lillian
Peterson, he was 75 years, 2 months, and 25 days at the time of his death.
His social security number was 025-09-0222. Born in St. John New Brunswick
to Paul Kingston, born in New Brunswick and Barbara Martin, born in New
Brunswick, he was a retired laster for a shoe factory. Mrs. John Kingston,
216 Central Street in Rockland was the informant. (MA death record 1965 34
