Hi Tracy: This may be your line of Kinghorns....I looked up and gathered info between Ancestry.ca and Scotland's People:
Helen Carse Kinghorn's parents: Thomas Carse Kinghorn, born abt 1908 and Margaret Kelly, born abt 1909. They were married 25 Jun 1926, Leith, Edinburgh City, Midlothian and were Roman Catholic.
Thomas Carse Kinghorn's parents were George Kinghorn and Ellen Carse, marr: 26 Dec 1902, Leith, Edinburgh City, and Roman Catholic.
George Kinghorn, born abt 1880, parents: James Kinghorn and Nellie Dixson Craven, b: abt 1858 in Pencaitland, marr: 25 Mar 1884 at Duddingston & Portobello, Edinburgh City, Midlothian.
James' parents: Wm Kinghorn and Emily Watson, posted banns, 3 May 1847, at Inveresk & Musselburgh, Midlothian.
Someone out there likely has a connection to this family. I'll share what I've found and you can continue to build evidence to prove this is in fact your line. Ellen
