I am researching the family of George B Kimberley of Chautauqua County, New York.

The earliest members of his family I have identified are his parents, listed as Burvet and Phebe Kimberley in the 1850 census living in Westfield, Chautauqua County, NY.

George's father is listed as Burvet in the 1850 census. I believe he may be listed as Bird in 1840 and Burret in 1860. He seems to have been born around 1807. I have no idea when he died, nor who his parents were.

George's mother Phebe seems only to have appeared in the 1850 census. It suggests that she was born around 1811. Here again, I have no information on her maiden name, her parents or her death date.

According to the 1900 census, Geprge B Kimberley was born in January 1835. He appears in Westfield in the 1850, 1860, 1870 and 1880 censuses. By 1900, he and his wife had moved to Erie, Pennsylvania.

His wife is listed in the censuses variously as Jane or Martha J, so I am thinking that she may be named Martha Jane. According to the 1900 census, she was born in December 1839. I have no idea what her maiden name is or who her parents were. She ceases to appear in the censuses in 1910, so I am guess that she died sometime in the intervening decade.

In 1920, George B. Kimberley is living with his daughter Bertha and her husband Henry L. Mead. He appears to have died between then and 1930.

If anyone can be of help with this family, I would be very grateful.
