All the Kimberly's I know of in Georgia are decendants of Isaac Sherman and Elizabeth Hames Kimberly. Isaac was born in Guilford, CT, Elizabeth in Union Co., SC. They were listed in Union county census in 1840.Theycame to Georgia in 1840's, were parents of 18 children and according to family stories Isaac was killed by a falling tree. They are buried south of Atlanta and their graves are marked. My great grandfather was 17th of the 18 children.
