The Death Certs that Betty sent contain a wealth of data, so much more
than British Death Certificates. They can be paraphrased as:

Frederick J Killick, born 17th December 1855, in England. He died on the
27th August 1930 aged 74 years 8 months and 10 days, was white, male and
divorced. His trade/profession is given as 'Real Estate'. The place of
death and his residence was 4041/2 East 12th Street, Kaw, Jackson
County, Kansas City, Missouri. He had lived in Kansas City for 45 years.
Cause of death Acute dil??? Of the heart. Cremation took place on the
29th August 1930.

His father was Henry Killick, also born in England, his mother's maiden
name and place of birth was 'unknown'. The informant was Arthur F
Killick of 89th and possibly a street name I can't decipher, after a
google search it may be Troost Ave.
****BETTY'S NOTE****This is GRAND Avenue.

Arthur Frederick Killick, born 16th January 1880, in Lockport, New York.
He died on the 20th March 1939, aged 59 years 2 months and 4 days. He is
described as being white, male and married to May Gragg Killick. His
trade/profession is given as 'Advertising'. The place of death was
Lakeside Hospital, Kaw, Jackson County, Kansas City, Missouri. His
residence was 105 East 40th Street. He had lived in Kansas City for 54
years. Cause of death Acute Parenchymatous Nephritis [Thanks to Google
this is any of various acute or chronic inflammations of the kidneys,
such as Bright's disease.] There were complications following an
appendectomy undertaken in January 1939. Cremation took place on the
22nd March 1939.

His father's surname was Killick, forename unknown, who was born in
England, his mother's maiden name and place of birth was 'unknown', but
her forename was Frances. The informant was his wife May Gragg Killick
of 105 East 40th Street.

These are without doubt father and son.

Regards

Clive
