Hi Robin
The crest of a swan with wings 'addorseed' (that is, standing up) is part of the family coat of arms. Above the shield, is a helmet depending on rank, and a crest.
The old crest attributed to Killicks with the coat of arms with three anchors appears not to be official, and probably just adapted from the three hammers of a Hamerton wife in the Staffs branch.
Sir Stephen KILLIK, Lord Mayor of London in the 1930s was granted Arms which included the 3 anchors/hammers in one quarter and the swan crest.

(The crest of the Bings is Pegasus, the flying horse of mythology, Why, is a mystery.)

As to House of Brown, this may be an album about Brown name, or a company producing one. Can't tell without more detail.

Hope you are recovering from the bereavement. Regards, Madie

This was written to me on the Killick message board.
Can anyone tell me if there is any truth to this crest
and motto? What is the theory of our origin behind the
crest? What is the House of Browns and what does it
have to do with the Killicks? Thanks Robin
