I don't know how far you've gotten on this, but Samuel and Ruth are buried in Spring Hill Cemetary on Gallatin Road in Nashville. Ruth's maiden name was Mitchell. My grandmother Eliza is buried there also. She married Robert Hooper Sr from Cheatham County. There is a Hooper who also married a Vick from Cheatham County. I have photographs of Samuel and Ruth, Carrie, Minnie, Eliza, James, John and I think Sammie. I also have death certificates, marriage certificates and death announcements. I'm trying to recall this from memory as all my info is in storage.
