In the St. Boniface Cemetery, Bellevue Road, Pittsburgh, Allegheny county, PA, unknown section, there is an impressive plot with a large cross with "KIERNAN" at the base. Also:

Francis J. KIERNAN, Oct 30, 1872 - Aug 21, 1917, Son
Francis J. KIERNAN, Aug 15, 1841 - Jul 10, 1922, Father,
"Born in the parish of Abbey Co. Longford Ireland"
