FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. JOHN BENSON TUESDAY
People of the Fairfield community were deeply grieved this past week when they learned of the passing of Mrs. John O. Benson of Spokane.

Georgia Lois Kern was born at a Spokane hospital, July 21, 1918. She grew to womanhood in Fairfield, baptized in the local Lutheran church, and graduated from the Fairfield high shcool in 1935. Shortly after her graduation, she and her mother moved to Spokane where Georgia attended business college and on May 22, 1937 was married to John O. Benson. She was ill about a week and passed away at 11 p. m., last Friday, June 24.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband and mother in Spokane, numerous relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the Fairfield Lutheran church at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. O. W. Reitz officiating and the Jaeger Funeral Home in charge. Interment was in Rosewood cemetery, Fairfield.
