Hello,
I noticed the name "Martin Kern" in a recent e-mail. A few years ago my
daughter copied a picture she saw, I think in a Catholic Church in the
Floyd's Knobs area of New Albany, Indiana. It is of a bride standing
beside her husband who is seated. The picture may well have been taken
in the 1800s and is identified as "MARTIN & MARY KERN 1st wife". Mary
is holding a bouquet of dark colored ferns and flowers which I can't
identify in the copy of the picture, and is in a long white dress, very
high necked, very nipped in at the waist, and appears to have almost a
leg-o-mutton sle
eve
If they are relatives of yours, I would be glad to send you a scanned
copy.
Mary (Ruddell) Zollman
