I hope I am posting this inquiry correctly. I have never posted before.

I am looking for information and/or descendents of a William Kern born 2/12/1878 in Blue Island, Illinois. He was christened "Karl August Wilhelm Kern" at the First Evangelical Church in Blue Island, Illinois. He was a son of Johann "John" Eucharius Kern (1843-1893) and Anna Maria "Mary" Volp (1850-1892). He was last believed to be living in the area of Lemont, Blue Island, or Downers Grove, Illinois. The last record of his existence is his attendence of the christening of his niece in 1897 in Lemont, Illinois at St. Matthews Church.

Any information concerning him or any of his descendents would be appreciated.
